We were met with a heavy rain this morning on our kayak fishing trip. When you are experiencing a drought in the south and with 90-degree air temps, you don’t mind rain…especially if you have the right gear. With rain jackets, checks of the Doppler radar for thunderstorms with our phones, and some determination, we paddled up stream in search of a bite.
My Kokatat Tropos Otter Jacket kept me dry. My Astral Brewers kept the traction. My MegaBass PopMax popper tricked a couple of smallmouth bass. Check out the video to see my cast-to-cast of my best fish of the day I caught while wade fishing while my Coosa HD was locked down with the Power-Pole Micro.
