The time has finally come… I actually busted out the fly rod and decided to pursue the elusive Smallmouth Bass while wet wading a river. So many of you have asked me to fly fish and I guess I was just too lazy/intimidated to get the rod out. Well… I am glad I did!

I started out with a streamer but quickly changed due to lack of confidence. I tried a popper… No luck! Thankfully my childhood buddy Kyle hooked me up with some Clouser Minnows a few weeks ago. This is ultimately what did it for me!
