NORRIS LAKE: Winter Bass Fishing Clear Water

Today’s video takes place on Norris lake, a smallmouth bass stronghold located in East Tennessee in early January. Today’s video brought on an entirely new set of challenges on a lake that I have never targeted bass on before until the video today. Cold water coupled with very clear water visibility is a perfect storm for bass to set up in a winter deep water pattern that is ideal for targeting with a vertical presentation such as with a Damiki rig that is a staple in the region. This trip to Norris lake is a great example of what a little patience and persistence can lead to during a day on the water.
