Smallmouth bass river fishing with spinnerbait

The following music and lyrics are not owned by this site but are property of their respective owner(s). On this day I'm starting off with a 1/2oz spinnerbait with white/silver skirt and double willow leaf blades (chrome & gold) and I picked up a few smallies. When the spinnerbait swung into the current and was pulled up the sides of the main current this seamed to be the most productive. FYI, I'm using 40# PowerPro braided line with a MH, 6'6", fast action rod. I'm also often using steel leaders on this river as we have ran into musky at this very spot. When the spinnerbait no longer produced at this spot I then switched to tube jigs and fished them slow which would generally yield a few additional fish.
